Addison Baker

Addison Baker, from Norman, is 11 years old. This past year she appeared as Mary
Lennox in The Sooner Theatre’s production of The Secret Garden and Babe O’Day in Good News! She also played Louise in OU’s production of Sunday in the Park with George! and was a featured soloist in The OKC Philharmonic’s The Christmas Show featuring Judy MacLane. Last summer she played the role of Flounder in Music Theatre of Wichita’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The Disney Company selected only three theatres across the country to premier the post-Broadway production…and she was thrilled to be a part of the magic! Addison has been in several musicals but made her professional theatre debut as Baby June in Gypsy, at Music Theatre of Wichita, in 2010. Also that year she was selected alongside her Sooner Theatre performing troupe as a Lullaby Girl and Winkie in the Nat’l Tour of The Wizard of Oz. Since she was 7 years old, she has been performing the National Anthem for many events around the State.…favorites include The OKC Thunder, the University of Oklahoma sporting events, and the Andy Roddick Tennis Exhibition. She won the 2009 OKC Festival Idol, and was the kick-off performer for The 2010 Norman Music Festival featuring Leon Russell. She just recently returned from NYC where she was called back for the role of Annie in the new Broadway Revival of the musical Annie! One of her all time favorite things to do though…is sing at The Rodeo Opry!!!
