Matt Blagg
Matt Blagg
Matthew Blagg’s music crosses not only the boundaries of musical genre, but also those of age, culture and perspectives. Matt ‘s music brings friends and families together in a fun and upbeat way.

Matt delivers a unique blend of styles he calls "Blue-eyed Soul". Not just a singer, this musician builds guitar playing, trumpet playing, and poignant lyrics into songs that light up any listener. "It makes life better when we can laugh, dance, and cry together," Matt says. "That's what my shows are all about."
From coffeehouses to Nashville theatres, Matt brings down the house. He has played for Aretha Franklin, ,The Temptations, The Fours Tops, The Drifters, The Tommy Dorsey Big Band, Delbert McClinton, and he has toured Europe with the Continental Brass & Singers. A frequent guest in Memphis, Matt has appeared at the W.C. Handy Blues Awards, and the King Biscuit Blues Festival. He has performed at B.B. King's Blues Club and recorded at the House of Blues recording studio in Memphis as well. But it's not the fancy venues that draw Matthew, it's the people. “ I want to spread God’s love and hope around this world that needs more of it”, Blagg says As Matt puts it "We'll go anywhere there's oxygen."
