NEW ENTRANCE! Patrons will enter through the doors on east side of the building facing Oklahoma Ave. There is construction right outside of the building blocking the south/canal entrance we have used in the past. When the construction is completed in the street, there will be a new elevator to reach the canal level!

There is free parking in Lower Bricktown, south of the building near the Harkins Theater and Toby Keith's - less than a 5 minute walk. There is a pay to park lot directly behind ACM@UCO and another lot behind the American Banjo Museum near by. The Bricktown Parking lot is a pay to park lot north of ACM and a 5-7 minute walk.

Weekly Saturday night shows introduce talented artists who share the stage with special guests, local celebrities, and the professional Opry house band in a family-friendly, live music show proclaimed “Oklahoma’s Official Country Music Show". Patrons can expect to hear music from a wide range of genres performed by up and coming and veteran performers of all ages. There is truly something for everyone at the Opry!

Snacks, soft drinks, and water are available for purchase before and during the show at the concession stand as well as Oklahoma Opry merchandise. 

We are not yet able to serve alcoholic beverages in this new location.

Seating is general admission, therefore it is recommended that large groups arrive early to ensure seating together. Doors open at 6:00 and the show starts at 7:00pm.

History & Heritage

The Opry grew from a love of music and family, and has become an important part of Oklahoma’s musical culture and history. Starting as a backyard gathering of family and friends who loved to play and sing country music - the Opry was formed and grew under the guidance of Granville “Grant” Leftwich (1929 – 2006). Starting in 1977 at the OKC National Guard Armory, the family-oriented country music show, the “Oklahoma Opry,” was officially launched. In 1979 the Opry moved into the renovated theater once called “Knob Hill” located in the Capitol Hill district of Oklahoma City. The Opry called Capitol Hill home until 2004 when they relocated to the historic Stockyards district under a new name. The Rodeo Opry found its new name and home in the Rodeo Theater where it resided until 2020. The Opry operated out of Stockyards Central, a small event center in Stockyards, after reopening post COVID. With plans to finally purchase a forever home in Bricktown at 19 E. California, the Opry moved out of Stockyards in May 2023. While renovations are being done on the forever home, Opry shows will continue at the Academy of Contemporary Music @ UCO. In the Fall of 2023, the Oklahoma Opry will celebrate 46 years of providing the best in family-friendly live entertainment and there's a lot more excitement to come.
