Cowboy Jim Garling
Cowboy Jim Garling
Jim Garling is a native Oklahoman whose roots were established by his great grandfather in the land run of 1889 near Norman. Jim has the work ethic, tenacity, and commitment of those early pioneers and incorporates it into his teaching and performing.

He lives in historic Guthrie, the first territorial capitol of Oklahoma, and teaches fiddle and guitar lessons at the Double Stop Fiddle Shop. He has approximately 54 students ranging in ages from 5 to 70.

Audiences young and old enjoy Jim's incredible vocal style, his remarkable guitar skills, and the short histories and interesting anecdotes he often tells about the songs he sings.

His songs have a just right combination of old-style, acoustic western cowboy and western swing merging the sounds of Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and Sons of the Pioneers with the swinging feel of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys while retaining the cowboy flavor. He performs cowboy-era music and music of the cowboy movie stars as well as music of more contemporary artists who reflect on the cowboy life. He has recorded three CDs, each reflecting those styles.

Jim has performed at numerous venues around the country: The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City; Cheyenne Cowboy Symposium, Wyoming; Western Music Association Annual Meeting, Albuquerque, New Mexico (in May 2007 Jim was elected President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the WMA); Cedar Depot Memorial Celebration, Cedar, Kansas; Gene Autry Oklahoma Film & Music Festival, Gene Autry, Oklahoma; Western Heritage Days-Tom Mix Festival, Dewey, Oklahoma; Miles of Memories Country Music Festival, Hastings, Nebraska; Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival, Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Several Oklahoma schools and libraries have selected Jim to do programs that incorporate western cowboy music and the history of the State of Oklahoma and traditions of our country. He is continually promoting and performing cowboy/western music to preserve it for generations to come.
Zach Coffey
Zach Coffey
To say that Zach Coffey is different from most young country musicians would be an understatement. How many others sang opera in college?

Not only is his musical background different, but so is his approach to his performances. Consider one of the mantras he shares with the members of his band.

“People are here on their free time to see us work — it’s an escape from the work week. Make it worth their time.”
“They worked all week, and this is their night off. They chose to come here, so let it be a vacation for them,” Coffey says. “No matter what level we’re at, there is someone out there who would kill to be in the position I am right now.”

That infectious enthusiasm for making music and entertaining audiences comes through loud and clear when the band is on stage and in the recording studio. Coffey’s smooth, versatile voice blends perfectly with the instruments and a fresh sounds.

The band burst into the Texas music scene, almost immediately after its inception in the summer of 2013. The group’s first single, I Love You Anyway, shot up to No. 8 on the Texas music chart; its follow-up single, Comin’ Back Around, also cracked the list of the top songs being produced in Texas and continues to climb. The band has a sound that suggests a much longer history, and has inspired comparisons to artists like Wade Bowen and the Eli Young Band. Coffey has enormous respect for those artists, but is not sure the comparisons are an exact match … which he sees as a good thing
Holly Beth
Holly Beth
Holly Beth is an Oklahoma born and raised singer/songwriter. Holly was thrown into music at a very young age when her first-grade teacher made her sing a song about a duck at a music festival. Despite not knowing anything about music she loved it so much she started singing anywhere she could get on a stage. Over the next decade she would transform her into the artist and performer she is today. Holly’s influences come from artists such as Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, and many more. Holly’s senior year of high school she was asked to sing at her graduation, and Holly knew right then she wanted a song that was made specifically for her class, one she wrote herself. Holly’s first song she ever wrote is the song she sang at her high school graduation in front of nearly 2,000 people. She later posted the song on Facebook where she got over 5,000 views. Her next original song she posted on Facebook hit over 12,000 plays. People wanted more, so she gave them just that. March 25, 2017 Holly released her debut EP ‘Pilot.’ In the following months of releasing her EP Holly’s band members fell into to place so easily it was as if it was a sign they were meant to play together! Since playing with her band they have rebranded their sound, image, and name. The Holly Beth Band is an upcoming band from Oklahoma City that is a force to be reckoned with. With Holly’s strong background in performing and the band members different style and taste in music, this band has a unique sound that is unlike any other woman led band in the area. Once the Holly Beth Band steps on stage their spunk and edge combined with Holly’s soulful voice will leave you wanting more every time. Holly Beth Band isn’t afraid to stand out from the crowd and their music is a great representation of that. Leaving one of their shows you will know this band loves to have fun while doing what they love.
