Stockyards Central

Event Center & Listening Room

In 2018, there was a need for a space to house Granville recitals, Artist Development workshops, and more intimate live music shows. With the help of our Granville families and community, Stockyards Central was created. Right next door to the Granville School of Music, Stockyards Central was created to serve as a multi-purpose event space and listening room. Thanks to generous funding from Kelli Payne and the Payne family and countless volunteer hours from Granville families, the building was transformed from a retail shop into an open, place of assembly that would house many concerts and events in the coming years.

Stockyards Central is a large, versatile room available to rent for your next meeting or party. It is the perfect size for corporate meetings, birthday parties, and bridal/baby showers. All proceeds from Stockyards Central events benefit the Opry Heritage Foundation.

Listening Room

Stockyards Central aims to be a premier listening room in OKC. A venue where patrons know they can enjoy live music in a clean, respectful environment; and artists know they will be respected. Artists including Wade Hayes, Horseshoe Road, Edgar Cruz, Ali Harter-Street, Johnny Manchild, BRD Jazz Trio, The Bottom of the Barrel, & many others have enjoyed performing at Stockyards Central.

Stockyards Central is proud to be the home of the Mean Hustle Concert Series. The Mean Hustle Concert Series is a monthly showcase featuring female musicians from Oklahoma and surrounding areas. Stockyards Central is the first all-female run venue in Oklahoma’s Historic Stockyards. Together we promote 100% transparency, equality, and support for all musicians. This means artists are informed and involved in everything from pay to conditions while performing. Our goal is to improve working conditions for female musicians in our community, to set higher standards for venues, and in turn, to improve working conditions for ALL musicians in the Oklahoma music scene.
