Since 2017, the Oklahoma Opry has provided free guitar lessons to over 200 veterans and now continues to serve Oklahoma veterans under the new name, Strings of Valor. After starting a pilot program in 2017 and later operating Oklahoma’s first chapter of the national Guitars for Vets program from 2018-2025, the Oklahoma Opry is continuing its longstanding partnership with the OKCVA Recreational Therapy Department to transform lives through music by providing free guitar lessons to veterans at two locations:

• Fourteenth Street VA Clinic: 1301 Northeast Fourteenth St. Oklahoma City, OK 73117

• VFW Post 7192: 9500 NE 10th Midwest City, OK 73130
